SUSTAINABILITY · THE VERIFIED CREDENTIALS

What is certified.

A buyer's reference,

not a manifesto.

Primexa is a curator, not a manufacturer. The sustainability story belongs to the makers behind our products, and on this page, we surface their audited, third-party-verified credentials in full. No claims of our own beyond what the certifications carry.

Why this page exists

"Eco-friendly," "natural," and "green" are not regulated terms. In the UK and EU none of them require third-party verification, and none give a procurement manager anything to stand behind if a claim is challenged. The credentials below are different: each is audited by an independent body against a defined standard, and each is searchable on a public registry. That distinction matters in three places, when a guest asks a direct question, when a corporate booker requires verified green credentials, and when a property's amenities have to be accounted for in ESG reporting. A logo on a bottle is not data. A certificate from an accredited body is.

i.   Bentley Europe — EcoVadis Platinum

The headline credential. Bentley's CSR programme is independently audited and ranks among the top 1% of all companies assessed worldwide.

An audited top 1% rating, plus a published
roadmap of operational change.

The EcoVadis Platinum medal recognises ongoing commitment to Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility, evaluated annually by an independent third party across environment, labour, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Platinum sits above Gold, Silver, and Bronze tiers, and is held by fewer than one in every hundred assessed companies.

Beyond the medal, the programme is operationally substantive: eliminated 80%+ of single-use plastic from packaging, FSC-certified wood, Piñatex® pineapple-fibre alternatives, BSCI supplier certification, and a long-standing reforestation partnership with Trees for All in the Netherlands.

For hotels that need to account for in-room accessories in ESG reporting, this is documented, annually renewed evidence of supply-chain responsibility, not a marketing claim.

ii.   Brabantia — B Corp & Cradle to Cradle

Dutch heritage manufacturer with the deepest sustainability programme in our partner roster. B Corp certified, Cradle to Cradle® at scale, goal of 100% circular design by 2035.

Two of the most exacting certifications in B2B sustainability  held simultaneously.

B Corp certification recognises Brabantia for verified positive impact on workers, customers, suppliers, community, and the environment. Cradle to Cradle® is awarded at product level on five criteria: material health, material reutilisation, renewable energy, water stewardship, and social fairness. Brabantia holds 700+ Cradle to Cradle certified products, including 206 at Silver level.

Operationally, the programme is target-driven and publicly reported: six pillars to 100% circular design by 2035, 99% safe materials by Brabantia's own standard, 93% recycled production waste, 100% clean wastewater target maintained. The 2025 step: every Brabantia ironing board cover now made with 100% Fairtrade certified cotton.

For properties that include accessories and hardware in sustainability reporting, Brabantia provides company-level and product-level evidence simultaneously, rare in this category.

v.  How to verify any claim on this page

Every credential here is checkable in about two minutes. The same three steps apply to any supplier, not just us.

Ask for the certificate, not the logo.

A genuinely certified supplier can give you a certificate number and an issuing body. A supplier who responds with brand guidelines and a logo file is telling you something.

Verify on the issuing body's public registry.

COSMOS, VEGANOK, Nordic Ecolabel, EcoVadis, B Corp, and Cradle to Cradle all run searchable public databases.

Check the scope.

Some certificates cover a brand or a facility but not every product line. Confirm the specific product you're ordering falls inside the certified scope, which is exactly what the index above is built to show.If you're completing an ESG questionnaire or a procurement audit and need the underlying certificates, contact us and we'll provide them for any product in the range.

WHAT WE DO NOT CLAIM

The room first.

The supplier second.

The catalogue last.

"Sustainability claims are easy to make and difficult to defend. Primexa makes none of its own. We surface the credentials the manufacturers have earned, and we leave the assessment to you."

Primexa does not currently publish carbon metrics of its own, does not run an audited supply chain programme of its own, and does not offset.

What Primexa does, at the point of curation: select manufacturers whose certifications are public and independently verified, share those credentials in full when a property asks, and refuse to surface a product as "sustainable" without naming the audit behind the claim.

As Primexa grows, the operator-level commitments will be revisited and answered properly. Until then, the certifications on the manufacturers and products we sell are the substantive commitment, and they are stronger than any operator-level pledge a single-house business of this scale could honestly make.
